1. Services

Global 3PL provides freight forwarding, warehousing, fulfillment and customs brokerage services. All services are provided under the standard terms of the National Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association of America (NCBFAA) unless otherwise specified in a written agreement.

2. Quotations

Quotations are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated. Rates are subject to change without notice if fuel surcharges, currency rates or carrier tariffs change materially before booking.

3. Payment Terms

New accounts: payment in advance of shipment. Established accounts: net 15 or net 30, subject to credit approval. Overdue invoices accrue 1.5% monthly interest and may trigger account hold.

4. Liability

Our liability for loss or damage to cargo is limited by the applicable carrier convention (Montreal, COGSA, CMR) or by $50 per shipment, whichever is greater, unless cargo insurance is separately purchased. We strongly recommend all-risk marine insurance for all international shipments.

5. Documentation

The shipper is responsible for the accuracy of commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin and HTS classifications. We may rely on information you provide and are not liable for consequences of inaccurate documentation.

6. Dangerous Goods

Dangerous goods must be declared in writing before booking. Undeclared dangerous goods may result in fines, cargo abandonment and refusal of future service.

7. Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for delays caused by acts of war, natural disaster, port strike, government action, pandemic or other events beyond reasonable control.

8. Dispute Resolution

Disputes are first subject to good-faith negotiation. Unresolved disputes are subject to binding arbitration under the rules of the AAA in Chicago, IL.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States.
